  1. Seriously, why does the Sunday Sun let this ****ing ****** review our games

    His ratings -

    Harper - 6
    Simpson - 6
    Williamson - 6
    Coloccini - 7
    Ferguson - 6
    Barton - 8
    Nolan - 7
    Guthrie - 6
    Gutierrez - 8
    Ameobi - 9 <laugh>
    Loverman - 7

I'm sorry but this guy's eye site is ****ter than the sweat on the crack of Ashley's ass.

He think's Ferguson and Guthrie were no better than Williamson?

Also if Williamson deserved a 6 than Coloccini deserves an 11, because Coloccini was class apart from Williamson on that day.

Ameobi was good but he wasn't man of them match.

All i see when i read his collumn is ****.

Sorry for rant, and i know it's his opinion but he does write some carp. Anyone who was actually at the match yesterday with a brain cell would have seen that Ferguson, Guthrie and Coloccini were all 10x better than Williamson.

I was actually quite impressed with Shola yesterday! He was very good. A goal and an assist and his hold up play was decent.

Surely Lovenkrands' goal and assist deserves more than a 7

I don't think these ratings are far off to be fair

  7. You could say the same about Shola thought, but his performance was nothing near a MOTM performance. Barton deserve MOTM for me because his work effort and long balls created so many chances but Lovenkrands just couldn't put them away.

If Lovenkrands was a yard faster Barton could have had 5 assists yesterday.

I thought Shola played a blinder yesterday. Great assist for Nolan, good hold up play, and the fact that Christophe Berra spent half the game grabbing Shola for no foul or diving on the floor winning fouls made it for me. Shola would've bossed the game were it not for shocking refereeing.

    Also, Berra is ****e.

Hmmm, I think this is a case of taking a deep breath Tash lol!

Shola scored one and set one up, as did McLoven - That's good by anyone's standards. Shola's hold up play was good and he won a lot in the air.

I agree Barton should've been MOTM, he had a point to prove and he proved it, all within the letter of the law which must have pissed Karl Henry off something rotten.

I thought Williamson was actually decent, his distribution is fairly poor at times (he just boots it away when we could pass it calmly) but on the other hand, between Colo and Jose we sometimes mess about at the back too much, so Williamson's no nonsense get it away approach isn't TOO bad...PLUS if I'm not mistaken it was his pass that sent Taylor away down the left for our 4th?

I reckon those ratings aren't too bad - switch Shola and Joey for the 8 and 9 and it's pretty much perfect!

+1 for Shola playing a blinder yesterday. Granted, he tired in the last 20 minutes, but before that I thought he had a cracker. Easily 9/10 in my book.

I agree, I think he led the line very well and you can't argue with a goal and an assist

Shola had a very good game, near MOTM-standard but IMO it's a toss between Colo and Barton.

I think the ratings are pretty good. I'd take one from Shola and give it to Colo but other than that ok. Barton MOM for me but Shola and Colo ran him close.

Willo I thought did ok as well. Colo and Enrique both take too many chances at the back for my liking. Willo's no nonsense defending may give away possession more than some but it makes him more effective at clearing his lines, which should be a CB's first priority.

Pretty solid on his first start, a couple of nervy moments as you'd expect but overall did very well.
Didn't seem to offer as much going forward but was obviously playing in a deeper role.
