Leicester City have been heavily rumoured as a potential destination for the midfielder in the last week â with sources close to the player claiming that talks have taken place over a £2million deal. It had even been suggested that Wanderers had taken Davies out of the team in recent weeks to protect him from injury so the deal could take place. Great player we all know that from when he was here before but only fit 25% of the season at best....could be a big risk IMO.
Don´t know to much about him tbh, I´d have to GOOGLE him, but if he´s a `sick note`then not really what you need in a season trying to prove you belong with the best. I´d be looking at building a DEF that´s up to prem standard 1st.
Not for me. Certainly adds to the squad but im not sure that it improves it - would be a good addition but is not better than James or Drinkwater i dont think. We should be looking to improve, not add.
We had him in league 1, we haveto take that opinion out of the picture when it comes to our opinion of him being able to perform in the prem. If hes been taken out of the team to keep him fit, then that isn't a good sign, you could argue that the prem isn't as "rough" as the Championship, but still, not a good sign.
I remember Mark Davies playing for us in L1 - did alright but when he left no one was clamouring for him to stay.
I´ll say it agian, we need to build a team in the same sort of way MO´N did & I think we are. NP´s his own man don´t misunderstand me & he´s not MO`N, I guess what I´m trying to say is get some cheap hard working players that really want to play for the club & .... not do a Q.P.R for i.e. There´s alot of players out there & I know NP & his staff will get the transfers sorted over the summer. You´ve got to look at the likes of Southampton & Palace & head in that sort of direction. We really do have a very good base to work with & the right players added... who knows. No. People are sentimental about him because he had 7 good games for us in League One. He can't stay fit for more then 2 games and he hasn't done anything of note when he has been playing. 2m? Dougie Freedman will be laughing his head off.
Update: NP has said he has no interest in him and that the real targets most people will never have heard of them. Sounds like some more good scouting overseas maybe!
