Swindon Town manager Mark Cooper speaks to BBC Wiltshire about returning to Ashton Gate, where he trained as a young player: "I'm looking forward to going back. It will bring back a lot of old memories for me. ' I remember the big crowds and vocal support when things are going well.' "I think it will be a good atmosphere. Bristol City have hit a bit of form and we've hit a rocky patch. "It's got all the makings of a good game." Sarcastic Git..! http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/26492996 “I can remember after the game I was a YTS and we were doing our jobs and had to go and get something out of the car park and the City fans were throwing pint glasses at Lou Macari. Hopefully that won’t be me. http://www.gazetteandherald.co.uk/sport/11076595._/ This guy is quietly insulting our club and our fans, he a devious Git.!
A small jab, perhaps, but one that is absolutely true. I don't think these forums have ever known anything but negativity. Hell, even when we were playing well people couldn't help but have a pop at who they believed were the poorer players.
Swindle fans aren't fond with Cooper, maybe he's feeling the pressure? Considering his managerial career to date Is failing with about 3 conference clubs I'd feel a bit uneasy as well..
To be fair he's probably right - there are elements of our crowd who are very fickle Let's show him what Ashton gate can be like today - COYR!!!
