I do see the funny side to this and if it worked it might have been recognised like the back heel penalty.. his attitude is pretty awful but he's good for a laugh and maybe one day he might live up to his potential...

although people said that about Robinho..

He said he thought he was offside. Fair enough, play the whistle and all but sheesh, give the punters some entertainment in a warmup friendly. Aren't they supposed to be selling the brand?

I would tend to believe he thought he was offsides. Watching the game, the commentator said he told de silva as much.

Let's just be clear about Balotelli - he's a Grade A Twat. Anyone who seriously thinks in his position that it's cool to wear T-shirts glorifying guns and knives can only be expected to act like a spoiled, over-indulged prima donna. I sometimes wish Mancini would just slap him around the face a few times (oops, there goes my anti-violence angle....)

Agree with most of your points here but didn't that t-shirt say 'Love' but it was written by guns. I'm not 100% sure about though.

He has done some nice things ( kid getting bullied at school), but sometimes he is just an idiot! They almost lost that game yesterday when they could have caked it being 2-0 ahead. Some journo for soccernet.com tried to defend him to, numpty.

Not really wanting to get into the semantics of how you portray guns and knives on a T-shirt. Suffice to say most kids would regard it as a 'cool' piece of apparel, featuring (and, let's be clear, glamourising) items of street violence and murder. Really cool, Mario.....

Completely agree with you. He shouldn't have worn that t-shirt but what i'm trying to say is that he might have thought that t-shirt was O.K because it spelt out the word Love.

For the record, I do believe that he shouldn't have worn the t-shirt and it was a stupid idea.

Has anyone seen him interviewed? Is he a bit dim or just a great comedian?

Videos about knives and guns on our board.

I like Balotelli. He seems human, has a heart for the downtrodden and a dislike of authority. My kinda guy, though I doubt I'd want him in our dressing room.

GKRK, that is not anywhere near close to what Balotelli did. If anything, it was a S*** corner and he was trying to flick it on ( again awesome goal though!). I think Ibra scored one like that against Italy, more instinct scoring than actual showboating.
