According to Sky Sport the Club have offered Marcus a new 4 year contract but he has "yet to put pen to paper". Source: http://www.skysports.com/football/n...bettinelli-in-talks-with-fulham-over-new-deal Difficult for him. Not for the first time just as he establishes himself as the number one, an injury comes along. And getting the spot back will only happen if Button's confidence goes (again). He's young enough and good enough not to want to sit the bulk of the season on the bench. Guess it depends how ambitious he is or whether he's content to stay in his comfort zone..
Seems Betts has now put pen to paper. Deal is to 2020, with an option for an additional year. http://www.fulhamfc.com/news/2017/august/30/marcus-bettinelli-new-deal
Good. Can see improvements in Bettinelli and Button since new goalie coach, Jose Carreira, came in pre-season. Neither of the B's is the finished article but this commitment from Marcus will provide a neat competitive element for the top spot.
