This banner was unfurled at Anfield as the Scouse were belting out YNWA allegedly please log in to view this image Trevor Santos will be raging
Small time fans strike again. It doesn't surprise me that Mancs would pull a stunt like this though, I mean they have more songs dedicated to Liverpool than to the manager who won them 12 of their 19 titles. And there are the same amount of banners about Man City as there are about Ferguson at Old Trafford.
I would suggest its the Mancs that are incredibly bitter about us, as you sing about us nearly every game, while we rarely sing about you other than when we're playing you. We know you're still angry about struggling in the 70s and 80s while we were dominating, but you need to get over it now, you've overtaken us, and you're still obsessed with us, it's time for you to concentrate on your own club, I'd say.
Well you've talked alot more about United than I have about Liverpool, so you're making yourself look a bit hypocritical here
I've noticed that, it's rather sad. I don't understand it either, I wonder what's made the Man Utd & Rangers' fans so bitter about Liverpool & Celtic respectively? Is it the lack of European cups? Or is it simply an inferiority complex? Not really, I was discussing the original article, and saying that I thought, for a team who've just won a record breaking #19 titles, you were still obsessing over Liverpool, for some reason.
United aren't "bitter" about Liverpool. Why would we be? Bitterness implies jealousy, but what have we to be jealous of? Unlike Livepool fans, we're not obsessed with history so the extra couple of European Cups you won 20-30 years ago doesn't bother us. We're miles bigger and better now, and that's all that matters. We don't like Leeds or City, but again, it's not down to "bitterness", they're just old rivalries. I just thought it was funny. Nothing obsessive at all.
Liverpool fans are incredibly bitter about Uniteds success and considering the LFC banners in the past is it any wonder now that we have met, beaten and will soon piss all over LFC's records we are rubbing it in. You deserve every bit of it and long may it continue.
I wonder if they've still got that "We Live Your Dreams" banner up They've definitely not got the "Come back when you've won 18 titles" one.
Yeah, you're not obsessed with history at all and the fact we had won more titles than you at all, it's not like after winning your 19th title instead of celebrating it like normal people would, you started planning getaway cars and all that jazz and buy about 4 tickets to a Liverpool match worth over ã120 just to put a 40 second banner up showing that you've won 1 more title than us in your history. Obviously though, you're not obsessed with history at all though, I bet that 19 was just a random number, nothing to do with history or anything like that. No, not obsessed with us, not one bit.
Cannot deny that after hearing constant bellends berate us with their "18" jibes time and time again despite the fact that they hadn't even come close to winning the league since 1992 hasn't affected me. Too frigging right i'm going to shout about it, and I just love the reaction it's getting.
There's nothing wrong with taunting opposition when you're playing against them, where have I complained about that? Had that banner been at Anfield when we were playing you, then I wouldn't even call it small time, but the fact you sing about us every single game, and going to the effort of going to a game which has got nothing to do with you, makes you small time. You always have, and always will, have small time fans, congratulations. It's not with Liverpool either, you've got banners about Man City's lack of trophies at your ground, that's also small time, as you'd rather make banners of other clubs failures, rather than celebrate your ones.
You can justify it in any way you want, but at the end of the day your lot are doing/have done just the same thing. That makes it no better or worse. I really see no viable reason as to why you're complaining about this other than because you're pissed off because you're not top dogs anymore. Haven't been for quite some time barring the numbers, but that's besides the point. We were made to feel we were inferior throught our dominance due to the lesser amount of leagues won, now we've proven that we're no longer inferior we're snatching it with both ****ing hands! So now, the "inferiority complex" has been handed over, how do you feel?
