Really boring match so far, could have a good shout for a draw.

What do you think of the first half?

Hope Sunderland get something now as I had Man Utd on my Super 6, but that is out the window now because Southampton scored again. I had them 1-0 :(

    Goal Wellbeck :(

Edit: feels strange to not want the Mackems to lose!

At the end of the season we aren't going to be up and about Man U but there is a chance sunderland will be near us.

Want Man U to win easily.

I don't care either way tbh. Would be good to see us 2nd, but I would take 3rd after 11 games :)

I guess not being from the NE I don't feel the rivalry quite as keenly. Draw was what I wanted, enough to keep us 2nd for a few weeks but not much help to the Mackems either.

A draw would be ideal, if Man U win I hope they thrash them.

    This!

The bigger the gulf between us and Sunderland, the less we will hear from their fans about "how lucky we are!"

someone made a good point about our competition being the teams who finished around us last season and just above us so the more points we can get at this stage over them is all good ....plus i just can't bring myself to wish them well <laugh>

Fully understand that, doesn't feel right to me to not want them to lose <laugh>

The rest makes sense as well. We know that we will not be competing with Manure, Citeh and Chelski all season so we should want the other teams to lose against them to increase our chances of making 7th or 8th.

We're not far of the dippers and catching up just out of reach from the spuds and miles away from the likes of man u man city and Chelsea add arsenal into the mix and i'd say if certain things go our way (injuries/players bought/players retained etc.) then i don't see why 7th isn't achievable but i'm trying to not get ahead of myself :)
