As far as I see Manny is same as Dave atleast until now.

I just can't understand all the landslide support Manny gets.

In what ways Manny is better than Dave for everyone to consider his City side as firm favorites.

Moyes has taken United about 18 steps backwards where as Pellegrini has City through to the last 16 of the C.L for the first time in City's history, has them scoring at will, into a cup final and smack bang in the middle of a title race.

Firm favourites for the title? No. Favourites, clearly yes.

Moyes doesn't have the Strikers / wingers / midfielders like Pellegirini has.

And goons squad is not as good as City's.

With that squad Manny shouldn't be 2 pts behind Le Arse!

Football isn't played on paper though. With our squad we shouldn't be 2 points behind either but Arsenal have been working towards this season for a long time, building with stability.

Pellegrini is doing all that reasonably could be expected of him in my view. New manager in a new country, managing the egos of many millionaire footballers, got them fighting on all 4 fronts etc. Not remotely comparable to United, who were champions with this same team last year.

Jose 90 points plus with that squad. Ten points clear by now and title wrapped up

exactly. No way Jose would be trailing goons of all teams with that squad.

I think with the money that Chelsea have spent in the last few seasons, they should be at the very least 2 points off the top. The over achievers for me this season are Arsenal

The City players have had more to do with it than Pellegrini, ditto for Utd.

Agree with this, Managers, like some players, take a season to get up to speed with the PL. Pellegrini sure has the best players, but he is handling them well.Has some work to do against Jose though !!!
Man U were dragged over the line by Fergie last year, but were really on the slide, and only got home because of the inadequacies of the opposition. Moyes has a bigger job, but I expect he and Utd. will also be a different proposition next season.

exactly, to me there is little to no difference between Manny / Dave. May be next year will prove me right or wrong.

Man Utd with their experience at the top end of the PL for years, and City with their funding and business personnel, well neither are dopes. Nor are their managers. Jose may be the best of the lot but Pellegrini and Moyes when they get up to speed, will win more than they lose, mores the pity. And just to make things more interesting, it looks as if Arsenal are going to open the wallet next season as well, so they will be there or there abouts as well. They've done very well with their resources this year, and look a bit tougher than they were.
Some twists and turns left this season, but next should be an absolute stonker !!!!!!!!
