HULL City goalkeeper Vito Mannone will be missing for at least three weeks with a thigh injury, Nigel Pearson has confirmed. The Italian has returned to parent club Arsenal for treatment so Brad Guzan will continue in goal when City travel to Coventry on Saturday. http://www.thisishullandeastriding....ing-weeks/article-3317907-detail/article.html Bollocks.....
I bet he is annoyed. He clearly likes it here and he has been top class for us. I rate him better than Brad. Maybe he will be back again next season on loan.
It would be a good Signing as pearson does not seem to rate duke or Oxley so i reckon we will sign him in the summer. I also agree with HullFan1991 i rate him better that Guzan.
I think this may turn out to be an "if only" season whereby we just miss out on the play offs and think "If only Mannone and Stewart hadn't been injured?" Oh well, there's always next season, at least we can enjoy the next ten games without worrying about relegation.
True OLM but if we don't get Vito you know Pearson will be in for Guzan. Has anyone seen Oxley play a game and is he any good?
I would prefer Mannone on loan for all next season rather than Buying Guzan. I do like Guzan, he's a top bloke and a good keeper, however his distribution is awful.
Not keen on Guzan, he switches off some times. Mannone is a class act and I reckon he makes the difference - he has def saved us a few points over the last few months.
Hopefully we'll see Vito again this season and next. Still don't think City have lost a game when he's been in goal. I know it's not all down to him but must give the team a boost to see him inbetween the sticks.
