Let's hope Wenger takes 'I'm open to staying here longer and I have spoken with Nick about this already.' with a pince of salt and doesn't claim it's 'tapping up'. Although I suppose he'd only give a **** if it was one of his top players.
Sounds like Nick is open to that but not until the end of the season....what did people make of his performance on Sat.? Looked slightly dodgy from the highlights on Tigers Player but that's really not enough to judge. Also don't know how much actual playing time he's had at Arsenal - I suppose he's had games in the reserves.
Against Ipwich he made one brilliant save, was perhaps questionable for the goal (though I thought it was a very tricky initial shot from JET) and had a pretty scary moment involving McShane not dissimilar to the Burnley goal last week, though as with that one I think the defender was to blame.
