Flapped at what should have been a return save.

Let's hope Pickford is playing next week, he can't do worse, and I honestly believe he's much the better option.

Penny pinch and let pantalimon go, and it bites us in the arse the very next game.

    Typical.

Agree with all except the bold bit. Pantilimon hasn't been playing so if we'd kept him he wouldn't have played and same thing would've happened! Hope Pickford gets a chance

TBH not sure why Pickford wasn't in yesterday
Thought he played really well against Spurs - nowt he could do about the goals
The defence is shaky enough without chopping and changing keepers
Strange decision - mind you, one of many yesterday

Agree with all this apart from Pants - he was woeful at distribution often giving possesion away but we had no movement among outfield players to allow passing option. We needed to run with ball not continually pass (good at times) as players not good enough to retain possession for long. Agree JP may be worth a try - if only for distribution - he has a very safe pair of :emoticon-0148-yes::emoticon-0148-yes:

Mannone has made his mistake. There's Sams excuse. Pickford in. Picks distribution is tremendous. Something I havent seen from our goalies for a long long time.

Is it not the case that Sam is protecting Jordon, he played well in the two games he played in but conceeded seven goals ( none his fault by the way) but with this, defence in front of him he gets plenty of practice to show he's good enough. Could be that if he continued with Jodon the bearing in mind our next four fixtures it could destroy the lad if we ship a load more goals. Just an opinion.

I can see where your coming from cumb but I hope and believe we have a goalie with a decent temperament and wont let it affect him.
My gut feeling is Sam has told Pick he is automatic first choice next season when we will have a better defence in front of him.

Why's that, are we going to send him to Newcastle on loan?

Pants was a much better keeper than Manone, he kept us in plenty of games. We would have had 3 points this weekend if he had been in goal.

I would rather have Pickford in goal now Pants has gone.

But SA has said Mannone was not to blame for the goal.

You might want to play them both in your next game.

On the upside, you can rest them both two games later...

Ive watched the whole of west ham v city today. Good match. Thought west ham did well. City on a good day seem unstopable but they do tend to have a few off days.

Payet at west ham looks class.

West Ham raise their game for the bigger clubs, this season especially. I think they're a good side for sure, but City are just not clicking like they can. If I was Pellegrini, I'd go back to Nasri and Silva providing and forget about De Bruyne and Sterling.

Navas is also a ****ing waster, one of the worst wingers I've seen in this league.

De Bruyne got flip-flapped by some Payet tekkers as well... looked like a school boy.

There's a vine knocking about of it on Twitter, **** knows how to embed them on here.
