    Nothing to do with his footballing ability mate, because I agree with what you said in the toon board about him giving us a different dimension of play. Just think we as a team are heading in a different direction now, and alot of water has gone under the bridge where he is concerned.

    I'd love it if he came back, forgive the past, move on and do what's best for the football club. Don't cut off your nose to spite your face. Would mackems take Bent back for a third of the price they got for him?

    I did say, think it is second or third post, if you got Mandy for anything under 20 mil after selling him for 35 it would be a cracking deal. To get him on a years loan is even better

    Not so long back NUFC were in a bidding war with MUFC to sign Rooney. Did same for Berbatov. Forced price up for player and kept fans happy. Good PR if nowt else.
