Said it on the other thread about him. Don't think he'll ever pull on a Sunderland shirt, he's just not good enough and I'm not even watching tonight. I'm sure with a bit of experience he could be league 1 or push a championship player.
If he was at that level, wouldn't we have cut him adrift by now? The coaches at the club must see something in him to persist for as long as they have done so far. Maybe they're just looking for a return on investment.
Out of contract in the Summer. I reckon this loan could be the club saying go and try and get yourself a contract at that level for next season.
I've only watched the last five minutes and fair play they're probably tired but the standard of football is embarrassingly bad.
Bloody awful, you don't expect anything good but half of them can't even kick it in the right direction.
If that's the case Funky, can't see how the club could do much more for the lad. Someone saw something in him a few years ago, but it hasn't panned out the way we hoped. All we can do is give him the opportunity to continue make a living in the game. Seems to me we're doing that.
