Would they have won if they had been drawn against Barca or Real? I have a sneaky feeling English soil may give them an advantage on 28th May. Thoughts??
I agree, i honestly think that over 2 legs Barca or Real would of beat united. However, i would definitely not bet against united at wembley on home soil. Should be a good final
see someone grabbing a winner in the 118th minute final score=3-2 dont know who to but i have a bad feeling it could be united
Was it just me or were Schalke the worst team ever to make it to the semi finals of the Champions League. Ferguson putting out a reserve side was a complete slap in the face to them and to make it worse, they got spanked I think all neutrals (I'm defo not a neutral btw!) have to put Barca as favourites, United have been awful everytime they'll set foot outside Old Trafford this season so I'm not sure if the fact that it is in Wembley will be that much of a help, but it can't hurt I suppose. Think Barca will win but I hope that they give United a right old spanking!
Big Wembley pitch suited to a passing game against a lot of headless chickens running around trying to get the ball back. It didn't suit Utd against City and City ain't no Barca. Barca to stroll it.
I think Barca will win comfortably, Messi will most likely score and I'd say someone like Alves to get a 2nd. Utd will not win the midfield battle, which is where it looks like the battle will be won and lost.
I can see Barca ruling the midfield and winning the game. The likes of Xavi, Messi and Iniesta will destory United's midfield.
Again and again before finals and world cup tournaments this cr@p goes on. When United playerd Barca in the last final they met in, before the game, "Oh United have a great chance, the Barca defence is questionable at best ect ect. Look what happened, England yet again went out with a whimper and United were thoroughly taken to school and shown the gulf between spains best and Englands best on that day. If Barca are on top form I think it matters not where or who they play, the skill they have in midfield has nothing to do with what soil they play on, I reckon they'd run rings around United in sand
Have you ever seen a bookie on a bicycle? The Bookies have Barcelona as clear favourites. This is a better Barcelona team than in 2009.I'm 100% convinced we'll see bigger tits in Man Uniteds midfield than when Samantha Fox first went topless.
Another Manc ****er. Now **** off back to your ****hole. I sincerely hope you're right KPR. Don't want the scum to win it again. ever.
I still think we'll be the next English side to win the Champion's league. It's only Man United or Liverpool that have even the slightest capability of winning it (in future, obviously not at the moment), Arsenal, Chelsea and Man City just don't have the European Confidence/Experience that our 2 sides have had. Teams from London have just proven time and time again they cannot cope with the really big games, I personally think it has a lot to do with them not having as much passion for the game as teams from the north - In London there are what 7 league teams? Whereas in Liverpool there are 2 (3 including Tranmere) so there is an element of fighting for the city type thing. Man United just don't have the spark needed to win this final in my opinion, they lack a creative CM to really feed the attacks. Liverpool on the other hand have extensive talent in midfield and are lacking on the wings (where Utd excell) so it'll come down to who strengthens their weak points to who next wins the Champion's league.
The match will be won in mdfield and lets be fair,Xavi and Iniesta and Busquets are on a different planet to Carrick and Anderson.
Why don't you tell Fergie to go polish the replica trophies in the United trophy cabinet, whats great for polishing plastic? We don't keep tramps at Anfield, we have real silverwear in there that we can't trust tramps would not nick it. Still looking for that badge of 5 times euro champs on yer gerseys too I think, Fergie wants that bad. If ye win th eleague it took how many years to get ahead, and all we'll need to is two league wins to be back on top again after all the years of hard work your record, decades of wishing and hoping, will fall quite quickly, IF you win the league this year
Man United have a chance of breaking the title record.Lets see if they can hold it as long as we have.We have held the record for 33 of the last 40 years.1976-2009. Arsenal held it from 1971-1973(8).We equaled it in 1973. Nobody held it from 1973-1976 until we broke it in 1976 with 9.Nobody is currently holding it.2009-2011.
Hahahahaha, let's see if they can hold it for aslong as we have? I've never known such playground clutching at straws and desperation. You lot are ****e scared that United are going to overtake you as Englands most successful club, and you're right to be so.
