Manchester City manager Roberto Mancini admits he didn't expect to be in the Champions League this season and still needs more time to settle his squad. City were drawn in arguably the toughest UEFA Champions League group - alongside Napoli, Bayern Munich and Villarreal - and Mancini doesn't want supporters to get ahead of themselves following the club's blistering start to the domestic season. "I understand why people are getting excited but it is still early for us," said the Italian. "Yes, it's our target to improve, to win the Premier League and Champions League in the future. "But let's see what happens in May. This group of players has only been together for two months and we need time. "Of course, playing in the Champions League was all part of the project. But we are actually in the competition sooner than I thought we would be." He added: "But for us now it's important we reach the second stage. We're in a hard group where anyone could finish top or bottom. "Remember the Champions League is different from the Premier League. If you lose a game in the domestic championship, you have time to recover. "If you lose a game in the Champions League, you don't have that opportunity."
I would ecpect RM to tell the players to be patient in there build up to the Napoli penalty area. However I alos expect him to tell them to watch out for their cheating little ways shirt pulling, diving, etc.. However they will have to be alot more clinical in their finishing against Napoli and make sure that thye hit the goal more then they did on Saturday against Wigan
