Based on what happened at Shrewsbury, if we carry the same attitude then we're going to get pasted. It our reserves apply themselves then who knows. If we walk away with a respectable performance then some of the players that are playing today should be considered for the main squad because Man Utd reserves are going to be a quality out fit.

Watched a good chunk of the 1st half. Monk not stellar.

Managed to get a bit of possesion late in the half there. Had a couple of free-kicks in their half too, but instead of slowing it down & allowing time to get a few boy's in Manu's box, we take a quick one which gains us no territory & no threat!! We were 2-0 down & have a big man up-front, surely that's the kind of opportunities we should take, when up against a classier team. Short corners too, the guys have ventured forward & then get no supply!! One led to their third....

Oh So easy for man utd with a stroll in the park against a swansea team that run their socks off, A miss match as the youngsters of united showed why fergie brought them there in the first place, swansea tried very hard but they are just not in the same class as the well drilled united..final score is a very easy 6-0 win that could have been more...

Watched the last half an hour. It just felt like we were getting out-muscled by United, and the majority of their players are young guys! This is where it's going to take a while to get used to the division. United's kids are used to going up against Rooney, Vidic, Ferdinand and co in training. Our boys won't have felt this kind of physicality matched by ability before. We need to learn as fast as possible to be able to survive in this division. That game will have been a good run out for quite a few of the lads though. Thankfully, our first team looks a lot more balanced and a lot stronger than our reserves! But that doesn't exactly instil confidence in our squad depth!

agreed, men against boys or boys against babies? total mismatch. 6-0 and or m.o.m was the keeper.

As you can imagine, it didn't make for good watching. Quite painful to see the lads so outclassed. But thankfully for some bad finishing & good keeping, could have been considerably worse!! Onwards.....

is good experience for the future though - I find that the better your opponent the more you learn and the better you get..... Our team can only get better...
