Sevilla lost 2 - 0 at home to Valencia yesterday - not a good warm up for the game at OT.

I'd like to think this 2nd leg will be a stroll in the park for us, and on paper it should be looking at the players in each squad, but I just know this is going to be a close game.

I remember how tense the Celta Vigo game ended up being last year, and I'm expecting more of the same on Tuesday.

Can see us having a 1 goal lead and attempting to hang on in the last 20 mins.

The way we play under Mourinho, always worries me, as we get infront and rather than going for it and finishing off the opposition, we start inviting pressure, much like the Liverpool game.

Even if we go 2-0 up in this game, it's never a safe score line with the away goals rule, so it's risky to then park the bus and not try and score more.

I think we will go through. I might save myself the frustration of watching the game and just bask in the result again. I got this Jose thing figured!

If United can’t beat Sevilla (as you all agree they are not that hot) at home to go through, then we don’t deserve to go to the next stage. And JM is a pratt.

This is how I will rationalise this.

Since the first leg they have lost at home to Atletico and Valencia while we have beaten Chelsea and Liverpool. In theory this should be a routine win. I'm already looking forward to drawing Liverpool or City on Friday.

We didn't need to score away remember so we should piss this, right?

Truth is, we should. I expect Sevilla will score though which means of course we need at least two. And that's what we'll get, before hanging on for grim life during the last ten minutes.

Be nice to have a relaxing win with us scoring three and ridding ourselves of the unnecessary away goal ball and chain. It won't happen, it's not our MO.

That was my reaction. Useful for defending set pieces and a nuisance in the opposition half but in no way a partner for Matic in midfield. McTominay has far better movement and more ability than him.

Right, becoming a bit of an obsession with me now but..........get Sanchez off and put Martial on.
Sanchez is totally invisible at the moment, maybe with a full pre-season he will come good but we need good now.
