The head to head form guide doesn't come to Leeds rescue either. In their two previous meetings (at OT), the Whites have conceded 11 times. Leeds will be without Jesse Marsch (put out of his misery), Rodrigo (ankle), Archie Gray (foot), Stuart Dallas (thigh) and Adam Forshaw (groin/hip/pelvis). They welcome back Robin Koch, who served a one match ban against Nottingham Forest at the weekend. Chris Armas, Michael Skubala and Paco Gallardo, will be in caretaker charge, and must decide between Cooper or Wober at left centre back. Crysencio Summerville looked lively after coming on as a second half substitute against the tricky trees, but is expected to start on the bench. Georginio Rutter and Weston McKennie are looking for their first league start since joining last month. Bamford and Roca may make way after disappointing displays at the weekend. The hosts will be without Donny van de Beek (knee), Scott McTominay (knock) Christian Eriksen (ankle), and Anthony Martial (knock), whilst Carlos Casemiro starts a three match ban for his straight red card against Crystal Palace.
Be ironic if we play the same system - finally get to play our ‘first choice back 4’ with max at left back… look rock solid and win
Strangely really looking forward to this one. Truthfully though I'd say we've got no chance but hey you just never know.
My team for tonight. Meslier Ayling, Koch, Wober, Firpo Adams, McKennie, Aaronson Gnonto, Bamford, Harrison. Just one holding tonight for me, also really want to get Sinisterra, Summerville and Rutter in but they'll be good from the bench.
Plenty of pace in the team to hit them on the break. I said before Marsch was sacked that I was quietly confident of getting points out of the next two games but I've no idea how the hell we'll set up. Hopefully with the same thing we would have done anyway but with a team like this. -------------Meslier Ayling--Koch--Cooper--Wober -----------------Roca ------McKennie----Adams Sinisterra-------------------Gnonto ----------------Bamford. I think we load up the midfield as they have no Casemiro, Eriksen or McTominay. They could be weak up the middle, especially on a counter. It's there to be won but we are in no man's land regards tactics. God knows what they'll decide to do. If we play expansive with lots of width we'll come second best in that area. They have some talent out there. Keep it central, narrow the pitch, make it a battle and hit them quickly on the break.
What an absolute fiasco. Three years in since our promotion and we should have been looking forward to this game and a realistic chance of giving them a right good rattling. Instead it’s a feeling of dread that our Managerless rudderless outfit might get a right tonking. Very disappointing to say the least
Was in one of my optimistic moods. I’ll never learn. That fed up with the setup I’m debating the wisdom of even watching this thing tonight. I detest watching Liverpool and scum get one over on us
