Unless you don't understand the meaning of the word 'all' then yes, even Saint Steven. You see Matth, I can happily admit that 'Saint Steven' or the 'bucked tooth twat' get paid way to much money, or they dive every now and again. But you on the other hand, you'd never admit that. A normal person would say yeh you're right, footballers get paid way too much and people who go out to fight for this country deserve to be recognised more and even paid more. But no, you instead decide to ignore that and you get little digs in about or players instead.
Wages dont bother me. What others get paid has no bearing on how much footballers get paid. They are choosen and paid for their talent. It directly affects multi million pound organisations. Is it too much? Theres no right or wrong answer. The fireman/military personnel argument is a poor one. They choose to do a job most can do, they know the pay structure and dangers from the beginning. Are they under paid? Maybe. Do they deserve millions? Not at all. Besides, very few footballers are on big bucks. The majority are on similar wages to your average Joe.
He's had a good season thus far but four years seems a lot for someone who has played as much football as he has. Not sure if he's been good enough to himself to still be doing it at 32.
When will people learn, is called supply and demand, UTD want him (to stay) sand most other teams want him, so UTD pay him lost of dosh or he moves. We would all be the same in our jobs.
It is almost criminal that a sportsman gets paid this kind of money - however, this is the going rate for world class players and so that's what needs to be paid to keep him.
