My mate went to the Man U v Arsenal game last week. Nice ground but said the atmosphere was shhite. Reckons there is more atmosphere at Gillingham despite the enourmous attendance difference. Although he said the travelling Arsenal fans were in good voice. Bit of a joke don't you think Matth, when a ground of 60-70k cannot generate any noise?
Embarrassingly no denial though, I just think it's a shame a great club like Manchester United has succumbed to money and tourists in place of real fans. Literally the only time apart from the Arsenal fans there was any noise is when United scored and everyone got up and cheered but that was about it. Roy Keane was right...
I'm not embarrassed you thick ****. I'm showing what's known as disdain, you stupid, painfully unfunny, prick.
I guess Physics was never your strong point. For example 20k people in a small stadium will produce a higher amount of decibels than that in a 75k huge stadium
I'm guessing physics is not your strong point either, surely a 75k full stadium should generate more noise....ah noooooo, i get your point, 5k loyal and vocal supporters in a small stadium will generate more noise than a bunch of glory hunting prawn sandwich eaters. Personally i prefer a pie and pint myself.
Personally I think Manchester United need a relegation to give them a good social cleansing of the middle classes to give the game back to it's roots
Its been proven that small stadiums produce higher decibels. Only Plebs have a pie and pint, us rich folk have servants that feed us prawns and champagne.
Anyway, the 20k estimate for my lot was a bit ambitious, if you could just give me half of that attendance on a good day it would make a change!
I was reading an article, highlighting how supporters are in tears on the last day after watching their team get relegated. It went on to say relegation is good for you.
