So here we go. Wigan the winners of the FA cup take on the 20 times league title winners. Mark Clattenburg will ref the game. If UTD win, will the silverware count or not, as ££££, Chav FC and dippers think its a major trophy.
Imagine if Wigan somehow manage to beat us, it will eclipse their achievement of last year by some margin! After all, we all know that Community Shield > FA Cup.
If we win then it's a meaningless friendly. If we lose then it's the beginning of the end. True story bro I'd hesitate to call the CS a competitive game. Glorified friendly imo.
It's difficult to consider it a real trophy when it's only a single game. On the other hand so is the UEFA Super Cup and I quite like that competition. Anyway if Man Utd can't convincingly beat a team that was relegated, then had the best parts sold off, and is already playing competitive games then yes it's a problem, mainly for Moyes.
You mean as much of a problem as it would be when we couldn't beat a financially crippled Pompey in normal time in 2008? Yeah, it really ****ed that season up for us
Might mean they perform before March. They've kept their best players bar Kone and added very well at Championship level with Holt.
Bear in mind it was Astro who posted that. What he knows about football can be documented on the thin end of a match. He's very good at camp Rep! though. Rep!
Increasingly don't care. Should send the balloon off to Afghanistan or police riots in Belfast if he wants a real job if his fat life is so dull.
Will be a massive morale boost for Moyesy if we win. And a minor request, no Giggs in central midfield please.
