Vs Old Trafford, Espn - 5:30pm kick off. This will be the first that Dimitar Berbatov will return to his former club since joining the west london club from United, i'm sure he'll get a good reception from our fans, if he does score, i doubt he'll celebrate, he's got too much respect for Fergie and the club, i hope we see the first team play but we've got Southampton on the 30th, i think Fergie will play the same team against West Ham. my team for saturday's game : De Gea Rafael Smalling Jones Buttner Valencia Anderson Powell Young Rooney Chicharito.
Thanks Alan, Fergie said this morning that Young and Evans aren't 100% fit to play, looks like we'll see Valencia starting tomorrow then.
it'll be interesting to see what Fergie does tomorrow considering we play wednesday night against Southampton.
EVRA REVEALS CUP MESSAGE Patrice Evra has revealed that Sir Alex Ferguson has spelled out his determination to win the FA Cup this season. The Frenchman would love to get his hands on the famous trophy and could be in line for his first outing in this season's competition when Fulham provide the opposition in the fourth round on Saturday. "The boss has given a big message this season – he really wants to win the FA Cup," Evra told United Review. "He really wants it and so do we. "It is the only trophy that I have not won at Manchester United. That seems impossible given that I am now in my seventh year here. The FA Cup means so much and, one day, I hope I will win it. Hopefully this year." The left-back feels Sir Alex is able to shuffle his pack for the cup competitions and yet still progress, something that was evident considering Evra did not feature himself in the two ties with West Ham. "Manchester United is the only team that can make 10 changes and still win," he asserted. "You might hear people call it a second team, but it’s not. Everyone is a United player and you trust each one of your team-mates. The manager makes those changes because he trusts that we are going to win. He’s not crazy, he knows exactly what he is doing."
Don't tempt fate! The FA cup is a bloody cup competition and anything can happen. United should beat Fulham easily but you just never know. Berbatov may decide to have a great game tomorrow..
Pathetic The guy who did the last match thread did it like a true bawss. This is average. P.S. Cleverly is tired. Give Anderson Carrick Jones midfield a go.
Losing at home to Fulham would be a horrible weekend. I hope we win, the FA cup has eluded us since the gooners robbed us in 2005. Thank God it was the last thing they won, they never deserved that win. Long may they win nothing.
