View attachment 26270 vs Tuesday September 17th, Old Trafford, 7:45pm kick off David Moyes - It'll be the first time in 8 years since he's been involved in the champions league, he was with Everton the last time he was involved in the tournament, they lost to Villarreal in a play-offs,, let's hope we get off to a winning start in the competition. Marouane Fellaini - Our only signing of the summer should make his champions league debut for us, i'm looking forward to see how he plays for us, i think he's going to be a success with us in my opinion. team changes I would expect Kagawa and Welbeck to play in this one, especially the latter hasn't played in a week after he got booked playing for his country.
hmm interesting that you are going for first team when we have City game in 5 days .. some of those players are too old to play 3 matches in 8 days
Carrick,Valencia, vanPersie and Vidic need to be rested. Obv. we can bring them on later. Zaha, Kagawa, Chicha and Fellaini to start.
Vidic will playalong with Carrick, I can see RVP on the bench with roo up front with Kagawa behind him
Shinji Kagawa @ S_Kagawa0317 5M I was sick a little. Became so much better already, and well prepared towards the next game! !
Just wondering which is the weakest team in the group. If we are to replicate our 2011 CL form, we'll be down and out by Matchday 4. But if we play to our standard, it's a straightforward group. Sociedad must be the bananaskin one.
not one for me, we've got a toughish group, i think we'll qualify but won't be easy as people are saying.
Rafael and Kagawa are back in training for CL game. Nani is suspended for his red card against Real Madrid #MUFC
it remind me alot of 05/06 group.. there was no easy team and we draw 3 matches and we finished bottom of the group so we should take this match very seriously .. we need a strong start
Not an easy group but it could have been worse. There is something dangerous about a so called easy group. We had one a couple of seasons ago and Fergie and the players managed to mess it up... Not an easy group but should come out of it...
Just found out Sami Hyypiä is the manager of Leverkusen. More reason to beat them, dam former dipper player
Another reason for the fans across the East lancs road to support the germans (as if they needed it)...
