    Certainly keeps the season alive

It was against poor opposition but you can only beat whats in front of you

Is RVP missing v West Ham or not?

**** me Rooney's money has gone to his head

“You look at the three Spanish teams left in the competition. They’re all good teams - Chelsea are probably playing the best football this season.

“I know they lost at Aston Villa, but they’re playing some good football and obviously you’ve got [holders] Bayern Munich, and Paris Saint-Germain are playing well.

Is he saying Chesea are playing the best football out of them lot or have I read it wrong?

AVB was in charge for the first leg, which they lost, and Di Matteo was in charge for the 2nd leg which they turned around. AVB tried to play a high line, with a slow 1 dimensional defender like Terry in the back 4, which was never going to work. If he was going to play those tactics then he should have got rid of Terry and bought in a defender with more pace.

You need to play a system which suits the players you have, AVB didn't do that at Chelsea

Not sure how you can accuse Rooney of money going to his head. He's just given a lot of respect to a few of our potential opponents:biggrin:

Does Rooney say at any point in the article that they actually held a meeting? I scan read it and so I might have missed that bit, but all I saw was him saying 'we talk', or something to that effect. That's hardly a clandestine cabal in a smokey room to discuss insurrection is it? Seems like a sensational non-story to me. :emoticon-0114-dull:

Stop deflecting with crap about his agent, Rooney is the scouser that's held Utd to ransom twice and won on both occaisions, and that makes your jibe null and void.

Not really as Rooney is a top player, so we have to pay him top wages. The same as the racist cheating cannibal held Liverpool to ransom

More deflection bringing Suarez into it, your jibe was about scousers not players and Rooney proves you wrong Shergar.
