Really? I would have said the opposite and thought Bayern got the result they needed being the away side. In Europe 90% of the time you have to take advantage of home soil. Yeah 1-1 wasn't too bad considering how ****e Utd are, but it's far from the result you would have wanted. Can you see Bayern being so offensively ineffective at home? I can't. I disagree, its a good result for us considering everyone didn't give us a chance and were expecting us to get battered 4 or 5-0 last night.
When it is when your opponents are nice and patronising to you (especially after a draw) that you have to get very worried. It means you are so **** that they do not fear you and can afford to be nice to you. If they criticise you bitterly and are nasty means usually that they are worried and not sure of the outcome of the tie...
