http://talksport.com/football/exclu...ng-ps35m-deal-sporting-lisbon-ace-14041587449 I know its talksport but if its true, i would welcome this signing, i've heard a lot of good things about him, he's a defensive midfielder.
Well it is f**king high time the greedy Gs put their hands in their pocket and spend some of that huge stash they built up with Fergie's help. Irrespective of what we think of Moyes, our squad is behind at least 4 teams and when some of our key players are out, we are just ****. I said we needed £300m. It sounds massive but it isn't nowadays, and we have a huge chunk already spent on Fellaini and Mata.
Instead of continually warning posters about posting in the wrong place (Transfer Rumours Thread), can't they just be temporarily banned until they start to understand? We're not even near the transfer window yet, we'll be getting 20 transfer threads a day by that time.
I actually like the fact Matth puts up an article for each new piece of news. It keeps the board going. I think a lot of stuff would just get lost in the transfers thread, and less people would see it
Add to that that if this is true then it's quite a bit of news. Now they just need to snap up Toni Kroos!
£300million do we **** need that much. How **** do some of our fans think we are. And would you allow Mr Moyes to spend this £300million? if so then we need at least £3billion. Carvalho. I know nothing about him.
http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=A8jRQbn1LzE He's a big powerful athletic ball winner, who's comfortable on the ball and can pick a pass. He even takes the odd penalty too Better than Yaya Toure
You can ****ing laugh. When i said it first in January, most of the fans here were laughing, thinking it was too much. Now very few are. You could spend less but do you want to be an Arsenal who just manage to scrape into the top 4 ? This team needs reshaping from top to bottom.
if City or Chavsky spend 2\3rds of that kind of money you'll be ranting and raving all next season about it.
I laugh because its absurd. At most half of that figure. How much are you paying per player? £60million+? I see the need for 3/4 players. 1 CB, 1 LB and most importantly, 2 CM. £60/70million on the 2 CM players, £15/25million on Left back and £25million on a CB.
You've got to factor wages in I suppose when it comes to the overall spend. I agree with you on what we need but I also suggest we need a proper winger. This could be funded by selling two of the so called wingers we already have. Perm two from Valencia, Nani, Young or Zaha.
Yeh Ive not considered wages or sales to fund types either. But 300million? Thats a title winning squad ( whats our current squad cost? ) surely? 300million even with wages and our 4/5 top targets all paid for would leave us £100million for ice cream
Marco Reus would be the winger id go for, lightning quick, amazing shot, and a very good dribbler. Would be great from the left for us, cutting in on his right foot. He would also be easily available if we offer the right money, as Dortmund are a selling club who won't pay the big wages. They have a lower wage bill than QPR
I'd have thought half fistian's figure, it's a transfer figure not including wages. 150m on player transfers and recoup some outgoing fees would do nicely, that's like what? 4 or 5 quality players, do you really want to bring in more than that at once.
While I agree we should sell 2 of those wingers, not sure we should bring in another "proper winger." The way forward seems to be 3 attacking midfielders behind a striker. Zaha was been nothing but pants, makes my signature even more epic, and I don't see young or Valencia adapting to that formation/style of play. Which leaves Nani, who has also been pants the past two seasons, but he can play in the attacking midfield role. I'd sell Young, loan with option to buy on Zaha, and keep Valencia and Nani. Use Valencia for tactical switch if we need a real winger, and his work rate can come in handy if he's utilized in Ji sung park type of manner. Regarding the OP, assuming this is true, clearly Moyes will be here next year. I doubt the club would spend that kind of money if they were unsure of who the manager was going to be.
Chelsea, real Madrid, Barcelona, Bayern Munich. 4 clubs who do that sort of thing. Buy players with no clue who the manager will be
His name ends in "-ho" so you know he must be good. If I have any more kids I'll name them "Bobho", "Johnho", or "Fredinho" just so they will be guaranteed to be world class football players and keep me well taken care of in my old age.
