Yaya Toure is unlikely to feature after injuring his knee against the Gunners, while fellow midfielder David Silva is doubtful with a similar problem. West Brom are again expected to be without winger Jerome Thomas, who is sidelined by a knee injury. Zoltan Gera, James Morrison and Steven Reid remain long-term absentees. MATCH PREVIEW Roberto Mancini cut a forlorn figure in his post-match interviews at the Emirates on Sunday. His defiant cry of "six games to the end, 18 points, never say never" might have been the right thing to say, but there wasn't a great deal of conviction in the delivery. The Manchester City boss looked and sounded drained and defeated. How will the mood be three days on from being written off as title winners? Well the manager, players and fans alike must keep believing whilst there's still a mathematical chance. A win over West Brom coupled with Manchester United losing at Wigan and the gap is down to five points to bring hope again. Not impossible - but I'll grant you that it seems unlikely. Having seen their team go three Premier League games without winning for the first time since November 2009, it's understandable if City fans aren't full of the joys of spring on their way to Eastlands - but once there they can play a big part in lifting team spirits. This is a club with supporters who have never been found wanting when the chips are down. The stadium needs to be the loudest it's been all season - and not just to give a 'welcome' to referee Lee Mason after his award of a controversial Manchester United penalty and red card to QPR's Shaun Derry at Old Trafford on Sunday! What a contrasting few days it's been for West Brom. A first win in five games all but guarantees safety - even the usually cautious Roy Hodgson proclaimed "I think we can relax" - and that might be dangerous to a home side full of angst and tension. Albion might only have won once in 16 games away to City since 1980, but recent form trumps ancient history every time - and Hodgson's team has won more points on the road than at The Hawthorns this season. The first goal of the game both here and in Wigan will be important to the atmosphere of the night. If the Baggies bag first in this one, the Blue Moon might well disappear behind darkening clouds. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/17606956
