Manaus pitch

    The pitch has a fungus on it ! according to the governer there, the fungus only grows there apparently ! yet the one Brazil were playing on was excellent. More controversy. That pitch is thread bare from my experience.

    The brown lines going across the pitch are where the turf hasn't taken properly, so it's hasn't rooted, it's dangerous. Would the pitch analysis company Brazilian by any chance?

    No, they have worked with the FA before with regards to the Wembely pitch and the FA are happy to take their word that it is fine
