No, you can’t up move your entire family, and all the stress and pressure that comes with it, if your family are happy where they are.

Modern football is so unpredictable, I personally think it’s daft to do so without some sort of commitment, and even then, you’re only a handful of games, or one awful performance, away from the boot.

I have moved around a lot with my job over the last 5/6 years and it’s stressful enough just talking care of myself, let alone a wife and then a couple of kids too. Imagine you’re the kid of a football manager who is constantly moving, and every school year you’re somewhere different. Forget making friends, you won’t have time.

No. I've worked all over the place, my family stayed at home so the bairns had stability and continuity. The choice was do I go where the work I want is, or do I change career path.

Roy Keane didn't move his family up here iirc and that worked well until he fell out with the Chairman, bit like AN actually.

Depends how old your kids are. If they're settled at school etc it's different from teenagers who can understand.

Living arrangements should be part of contracts these days. We've seen multiple times that if they're not sorted problems always come down the line.
