http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/21372441 SOD at 41, Delboy at 103, McGoo at 108 and Wardie at 9,oh and Sir Alex at no 1....... Some very interesting statistics (although has to be taken in context as this doesn't really prove who the best managers are ) but certainly worth a glance on a Friday afternoon.. Some managers will surprise you
Sean is averaging 1.5 points per game and if he can keep that ratio up we will end up with 52 points. SAFE!
A pointless statistical waste of time. Comparing how successful a manager is based their success in their respective league when there is a vast difference in each league regarding team quality. (You see John Ward didn't do much at Colchester in 120th place)
Im with massive how can you make a article with managers on there who have only been at there clubs for 2-4 games? Should of been teams points not managers
W I N ONE L OS E ONE.................THATS 69 POINTS OF ANYBODIES MONEY...then concentrate on turning the odd half a dozen losses into draws = playoffs but not this year
Thats basically what I was saying an average of 1.75 points per game is usually good enough for the play offs and S O'D's average this season is 1.5 when you consider the state that Forest were in when he took charge and the mess we were/are in a season average of 1.5 promises well for the future not like the 0.8 average we had under DM, still can't work out exactly why he lost it so badly.
