I heard that West Brom were not going to sack Irvine, but when Palace got rid of Warnock it triggered his dismissal

It's not surprising in most of the clubs
I'm pretty sure we sacked Mcinnes with SOD all but a signature away from being hired.

I liked Delboy, I think he has learnt from the mistakes he made whilst he was here. He was the best manager out of all those between Johnson and Cotterill.

You're going to get shot down with that comment from SoD supporters. But I agree with you Del was the better one of Milen him and SoD.
He just in my opinion played too much with the academy side and took his mind off the first team affairs.

Not sure you can judge any manager playing in such a poor league as the SPL.
Check out the hasbeens/deadbeats finishing their playing careers in Scotland.
I'd be very surprised if McInnes could do a better job than Clarke in the Vanarama.
However I'd take McInnes over SOD or Millen any day.

Never did it for me,Del he was out of his depth,SOD and his boss never got on,that was the end of it.
SC so far has been a fantastic appointment, especially if he does the double.

SoD and the owner never got on? Why the **** did SL employ him if he didn't like him?
The reason they probably didn't get on in the end was SL realised SoD was **** and dragging the club down to league 2

SOD was out of his depth with the massive task of overhauling a ****e squad devoid of pretty much any player who gave a ****/was any good. It needed a new approach to tidy up and finish off the work he started which Cotterill has done and more. I don't think SOD was as bad as we all think but he wasn't good at the same time. Millen is a good number 2 but not a main manager. Delboy went wrong when he ditched high scoring attacking games like 5:3 and 4:3 losses and 4:1 and 4:2 wins for lower scoring 1:0 losses and dull draws. Also a lot of his players got injured which didn't help.

The only thing I could give SOD credit for is that he did seem to get the best out of JET.-My missus hated him and loathed the way that he used to get the team together after a game rather than acknowledge the crowd. A coach rather than a manager.

D Mac had plenty of ideas and talked a very good game- It is good to see him doing well at Aberdeen as I do think he had potential.

Good also to see Millen doing well but would always be more effective as someone's No 2.- There have been plenty of those type in the past. Jimmy Lumsden did the same job for Moyes for a long time.
