If, and I do mean if, we go down and Chelsea come calling for MH it would be very difficult for him to turn it down. Would anyone want Lee Clarke to take over, I think he would be good for us. I am not being negative just throwing a thread out there for your opinions.

MH will never be Chelsea manager...

If he does leave us, Clarke wouldnt be a terrible appointment, but I can think of many better choices.

Mark Hughes takes us down and then Chelsea come knocking on his door, never going to happen.

But he could leave if it happens, I think clarke would be my pick too, as long as he can convince Rhodes to sign as well.

If we were to go down (we won't) and Barton swanks off under cover of its just a game... At this moment in time ... I would end his football career for every QPR fan worldwide ... And when I got out I would expose him by selling my story " why some people need to be hit on the knees with a mallet"

If he got sent off as a "player" would he be allowed to walk off and sit on the bench as "manager".

Similarly if he got a straight red, would he be banned from the dug out for three matches?

F*** knows why I am asking this, it's could never happen ......... or could it? <yikes>

This does make you wonder what the owners are thinking. Does JB look less of a useless waster from the front row of the directors box? I doubt it. It must be just the special view from the dugout that leaves managers thinking he actually contributes anything to the game.

Can't be any worse than Hughes who's steadily approaching John Gregory levels of achievement.

MH can go to tomorrow for me! Exchange him for Neil to save us again and put the spirit back in the team. Even if we went down with Neil, we'd go down kicking.

Hes got to have near Warnock levels of points per game in the prem and I think if we had him in the summer, we would not have sunk to this level.

Yeah, kicking opponents, as at one time he was fond of encouraging his players to do from the touch line. Good luck to him, he has an honorable part in our history, but it's just that - history.

Warnocks signings were the ones who caused the lack of team spirit, he is the cause of all this by bringing in Barton. Hughes is just trying to clean up the mess left by him.

Under NW we played with huge spirit, just take a look back at film of our games with him as Manager and our record. For instance check out or away game at Derby last year.

With MH so far we have won one in eight, home to the bottom club, and have dropped into the bottom three, during a period of games against the weakest opposition there is in the PL, and with a new manager when usually games are won. We are playing with little belief, little spark, no discernible formation, let alone consistent formation, we were better in every way under NW, and probably would be now with about any half decent manager. Defensively we are a sive, and going forward we are unconvincing.

So far MH has been a disaster, and of course I see a resigning of NW as the best solution, though this won't happen now. If there is a Manager Houdini we can get in now that could turn this around of course we should take him.

Did you watch any games this season, that spirit was lost and you can never get it back. The way we are playing now is exactly the way we were playing under NW for months.

motivating managers have a short shelf life, theres only so long players can take it, you need a manager who also knows tactics.

Seen every minute of every PL game this season, except Norwich away. Of course you can get spark and spirit back, what goes down comes up again!. We had it with Neil this season too, Chelsea, City, Spurs, Everton away, Stoke away, Wolves away, Swansea are just some games where our sparky performances under Neil took us a long way.

With any new manager you expect the team to at least show spark, fight, spirit - if nothing else the players usually show this to impress the new boss and hold a place in the team. But with MH something seems missing to me, the players look they are trying hard enough but there's no bite, spark, belief, and we need this now, if not yesterday!
