Obviously we have been highlighted by the media for our recent turnover of managers. But in the Championship there are only 3 teams out of 24 who have employed their manager for more than 24 months. I would say 'more than two years', but that might give a false impression, as those managers have only clocked 25, 26 and 32 months. The chap with 32 months spent a large chunk of that in a lower division. Across the 92 clubs, only 2 managers held their posts as recently as 2009. Arsene Wenger of Arsenal and Paul Tisdale of Exeter City. So while the media revel in a turnover of 4 staff in however many days, albeit from only one 'sacking' (if you could call it that as I believe no contract had been signed), perhaps they should look around at the general picture?
Impressive array of accents there ak - you must have an interesting keyboard! Garcia (accentless) will not be reemployed by Watford.
Once Charlton reappoint there will have been 11 new managers in our division that SJ predates. That puts us firmly mid-table in terms of management longevity.
