Can any of our budding Stattos (I'm looking at you CJS and A Matter of Time!) find any stats for DC's league win rate? It's got to be close to 60% as we've won 15 games this season and he won a couple last season I think. That is very good indeed and far better than our best manager of the last ten years, Trolls, who had a 37.3% win rate.
Hey, im not the statto, that title is AMOT's Anyway, to answer the question This stat was up to and including the 27th Sept (which confirms this in this link above the stat in this link http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Darrell_Clarke#As_a_manager Remember though, this will include cup games, if any cup games happened in this period.
Yep I saw all that, but I couldn't be arsed to work it out! I reckon his win % must be 60 or close - that's bloody good!
8 league games in league 2 won 2 drew 1 lost 5 30 league games so far this season won 15 drew 11 lost 4 Total = Played 38 Won 17 Drew 12 Lost 9 I make that 44.7% but im sure AMOT will correct me if im wrong as he is better at this game than me 50% of 38 games is 19 games and we havent won as many as 19.
You're absolutely right, it is 44.74%. Thought it was better than that considering how few we've lost - still that's a very good win % and hopefully will be a lot better by 25th April!
i cheated by using a calculator and i still wasnt confident i did it right we have lost just a few but drawn way too many.
It's interesting how stats can be used. The percentage of games DC has lost is nearly 23.7% which is around one defeat every four games. That doesn't sound quite as good somehow! On the other hand DC has not lost in 76.3% of all of his games. That sounds much better
Someone needs to update Wikipedia (Rovers Managers) because the stats seem to tail off at the end of last season.
Lucky you guys worked it out yourselves. Had I come across this thread earlier I would've been under immense pressure.
