BBC are saying Alex McLeish is poised to leave Aston Villa. So we have West Brom and Villa already on the prowl. How many others will change before next season starts?
Oh what a surprise McLeish's been sacked. I can can hear the party in Birmingham from here! Good luck in getting another job Alex - you'll need it!
I'd be surprised if Dalglish lasts much longer at Liverpool. Shocking season from them bearing in mind the money he's spent and the squad he has available.
If the fans got their way Wenger, Moyes, Redknapp and Fergusson would all have gone this season along with Daglish. People have to accept that there is now competition for the top 4 spots and not all sides can make it. I think Liverpool need to keep a bit of stability and would be surprised if Lambert left Norwich for Villa. Aside from Bent and Given most of the squad is average.
It's getting to an interesting time, lots of experienced but not very good managers out of work all going after the same jobs. Wolves sprung a surprise and it's possible they won't be the only ones. To answer the question, four or five league clubs already looking so could be a busy few months - Liverpool, Norwich, Spurs, Blackburn, Birmingham, Wigan (?!), West Ham(?!) all could see a change. Just glad we should be out of it.
Nick Barmby is out of a job. Harshly sacked and he's got decent prospects as a manager. Someone might want to take a punt on him.
So, as predicted Kenny has gone. Now its being rumoured that Villas-Boas is going to be the next Liverpool boss...likely?
So a week on and we still have vacancies at Brom, Liverpool and Villa. Today Lambert seems to have decided he is staying at Norwich. Aston Villa fans in particular must be getting twitchy!
