Wigan Athletic's Roberto Martinez has been named as April's Premier League manager of the month after guiding them out of the relegation zone. Recent wins over Manchester United , Arsenal and Newcastle United moved the Latics out of the bottom three for the first time since October. Everton's Nikica Jelavic took the player of the month crown. The Croatian striker scored six goals in three games, grabbing two in his side's 4-4 draw with Manchester United. It is the first time that Martinez or Jelavic have won either award. ...................................................... No complaints about these awards...
yes they both deserve it imo, jelavic is some player like takes almost all of his goals with one hit doesnt need to control it or nothing just bang.
Jelavic is a prime example of what we need and that you don't have to spend ridiculous amounts to get it.
His goal was a total fluke, and I'm sure that the experts have taken that into account when making their decision..
He meant the shot and the swerve! Just probably not that much. He said so himself, he hit it because he was tired Also, how much did Jelavic cost? He has done remarkably well
Nope never, Pardew looks set to do it, but is there a manager of the month award for may? Edit: just looked it up, there isn't, so if Pardew wins MOTY he will be the first
I'm yet to see any evidence of us getting an unfair share of refereeing decisions, people keep throwing that around but no one seems to be able to pinpoint any incidents
as soon as De Jong came on I knew it would give Toure more freedom which would kill us off... Mancini killed the game
So someone questioning the accuracy of another person's statement is now taking the bait I'll bite all day long then, even if all it does is show up idiots like you whose final straw is to claim they were "fishing"
