I read a thread a while back that someone had spoken to Kevin bond and he had said there was a bad apple in the dressing room.

After doing some digging I have found a few things out not 100% on all but I trust my source.

    1. Harry and bond have had a falling out. Bond has the support of most of the players. Harry now drives himself to and from London rather than car sharing with bond.

    2. Bobby Zamora is the bad apple in the dressing room or rather was. Other members of the squad did not like his attitude, performances or lack of effort. Harry likes bobby. Tension arose leading to bond/Redknapp falling out.
Since Zamora has returned from injury he has redoubled his efforts and found some form. Apparently one player told him he was the only person in the world who got shorter when he jumped for the ball and he didn't appreciate it much.

    3. Wally downes. He is the defensive coach! Make of that what you will. He is also well known as a prankster and as a lighthearted influence on training sessions. It is thought he was bought in to introduce a bit of fun to the squad and encourage some team mentality and comraderie between the squad. He is popular with a lot of the more senior players.

I got the impression that Redknapp has lost his love of the game and is really just going through the motions. He wants to do well but has struggled to motivate himself and the team. Bond and Jordan are trying to take up the slack. Bond possibly feels that Harry is letting us down hence the falling out. Of course this is just my speculation based on what I was able to discover over the weekend.

    --

What Bond told me was that a different player to Zamora "likes to stir things up in the dressing room". This possibly links to the story of Zamora being told he gets shorter when he jumps.
What you have posted also fills in a few of the gaps about the part of the conversation when I was critical of the way our defence is set up and he was in full agreement with my observations and when he asked me what I would do different he cryptically said" Well, let's wait and see".

    --
Posted on dotorg, interesting post and fits in with everything. So basically Redknapp doesnt do anything and the players dont like him,He cant be here past the summer if thats true, it also mean we may just be able to sack him and keep the backroom staff although I hope Downs goes as hes useless.

The 2ns post seems to insinuate that Bond told the bloke Redknapp is leaving and that Bond doesnt agree with Redknapps tactics.

I got to the end of the first paragraph and wanted to kill myself..

please remind me, did the adel threads EVER get this tedious, monotonous and repetive and get into every single thread....I have actually given up reading most of this board because of this drivel.

I we go up some people a going to look so f-ing stupid its unbelieveable...i...i just cant be arsed..I'm of to watch MKR in the hope that tomorrow morn, they may be a thread i can read through to the end

FFS, we know your thoughts on harry, now please leave us the odd thread to read that doent involve him.

Its your opinion, fine, i dont agree, fine so why can we not support our team in the play offs for promotion without being labbled "happy clappers" or what ever moronic WATRB generated tag you want to use.

Harry has got us in the play offs, playing ****, so f-ing what? The aim has always been to go up..who gives a **** who, how or why we do it?

God...shoot me now...I m not gonna comment on the post as i genuinely havent bothered reading it...!!!

I’ve heard from an ex player that there is massive frustration felt by at least one of the coaches that Harry doesn’t name his team till the Saturday. He has asked at least to know a couple of days before so he can work on things in training but Arry isn’t having it.

It obviously shows in our disjointed performances.

This is interesting, whatever you lot say.
..we have heard about the whistleblower, now this...it is all consistent, and therefore probably contains elements (big or small) of truth.
It also backs up my instincts about Arrys body language and demeanour
So I want to know about it......It effects MY club

    So thanks Flyer for posting
(And Swordsy before you say anything....Betty makes up her own mind about what she finds interesting, what is worth reading and what is worth ignoring)

    That's quite a long non-comment.

I actually find the OP interesting and with a ring of truth.

Again, it would have been interesting had it been written by anyone else. But seeing as its Flyer who's proved he has a pathological hatred of Redknapp, how can it be taken seriously?

Understandable frustration if true. I'm not Harry's biggest fan but I can't believe it's as black and white as that, surely we must do some team set-up during the week, or am I being naive?

Queens, I started a thread about Flyer's obsession the other night and the consensus - at least from the 5 or 6 posts before it was closed - was that people want him to continue making the same point on every thread, every day, morning noon and night. In fact they were quite outraged that someone would flag it up as being OTT.

So we've got to put up or shut up I'm afraid mate!

The difference is that it is based on facts (of sorts).

My main problem has been posts (not just from Flyer) that include phrases like "It is obvious that" where it certainly isn't obvious, and where a negative spin has been put on absolutely anything and everything without anything to back it up except, as you put it, a "pathological hatred of Redknapp". Also the inference from the poster that he/she is right and if you don't agree then you don't know much about football, etc, etc.

This OP does no more than provide information via a bit of digging and from a source, but doesn't claim to be 100% accurate. It doesn't jump out at me as if I am being forced to accept what has been written or be labeled thick or a Muppet, etc.

I hate opinion presented as fact. This does not do that.

Thats 3 different sources saying the same thing, I think we can safely say its true.

Its insane that he wont tell the coaches the team so how are they supposed to know who to mark at set pieces and work on other stuff?

The only valid reason i can think of is that redknapp thinks theres a mole and he doesnt trust them.

Either that, or he doesnt set up his wheel of fortune until saturday mornings.

And all of the above is pure theory. Believe it when it's proven.

I heard yesterday that Chaz and Barton had a bust up in the pub. This was on Twitter. But almost as soon as this rumour started going around, Barton and Chaz started tweeting each other in a friendly way.

Have you seen us play much this season? The lack of tactics and preparation is clear to see. it only changed when mclaren was here.

Its not theory, its come direct from several sources. The theory would be that it explains our performances on the pitch and that seems perfectly logical to me.
As for the latter, multiple people say it did happen, it was only a little flare up that happens all the time.

It is clear to see and I agree that McLaren was a big loss to us.
I just find it hard to believe that we don't at least attempt to prepare a team for upcoming games. Whether it is working or not is another discussion entirely.
