There's a strong possibility that the will be back room changes at the club with Garry Monk being promoted to the first team coaching staff. This I see as a means of ousting ML. Other changes are also planned

Whoa, it's all happening. How come so many of you have insider info?!

If ML's going in the summer anyway then maybe they're just planning ahead.

They're definately positioning Monk as the next (assistant)manager of Swansea. Chico will not be happy with this

Unable to bring in his own transfers , with his own agent, with said agent ran out of town making Laudrup look the fool. Looks like everyone else will be ran out of town affiliated with Laudrup . The board needs to start answering for tying Laudrups hands this very important season in the history of the club . Huw was ready to for go the 10 million it would take a club to lure Laudrup away early in the season when he gave Laudrup 's agent his walking papers . Now it seems Huw might be ready to pay Laudrup the 4 million he would have to pay to sack Laudrup . Whatever happened to our old frugal buddy Jenkins , those 2 events add up to more than what we payed for Bony , which Huw whinged about having to pay 12 million for Bony through the media . Our board and chairman have lost the plot folks

Monk now 3-1 favorite with Paddy Power to be next manager. Victor Chandler have Jones as 3-1 favorite and Stan James have Morten as 3-1 favorite. So take your pick. But you can get odds for 8-1 or more for all of these. So seems that no-one really knows at the moment. That might mean ML is staying until end of season. Maybe too expensive to get rid of him, so make other changes to dilute his influence.

It looks like Laudrup played this very well. Get his agent to make Huw think big teams were after him, make Huw panic and offer new contract with £10 million buy-out. And now Huw can't get rid of him without paying a big load of cash. I think Huw has been out-maneuvered. A masterclass in negotiating.

I think this is being overthought by many with conspiracy theories abound......

Seabreeze.. you're signature says "Chico is a Jack Bastard" - he's actually just a Bastard. Not a Jack in my book.

Monk now 6-4 favorite. Jones 11-4. Long odds for both gone. Looks like it's between these two. One manager and the other assistant manager? Laudrup gone before Cardiff match.

Don't shot the messenger. I'm only reporting the current odds, as this often reflects what's going on. Not always right, but they are more often than not a good indication. There wouldn't be all this talk and shortening odds if everything was calm. Something is definitely happening.

He can't become a PL manager , as he hasn't the appropriate badges yet unless he's been rushed through the levels
It is a requirement of many of the top leagues throughout Europe that individuals can only take up a managerial position if they have obtained a UEFA Pro Licence – the FA Premier League is one of these leagues. However, in certain cases special dispensation has been given to certain managers enabling them to take up their position without having the UEFA Pro Licence on the condition that they obtain it while in the job, are we that desperate yet ?

Put your money on yet plastic ?

If these back room changes are true, it's simply to try and get ML to jump; make it his decision. High risk tactics IMO and quite frankly idiotic....if indeed they are wholesale changes.

HJ and co have done wonders for the club, but the handling of this situation with ML is exposing his inexperience as a PL Chairman. Forcing ML out is what this appears to be....a few days before the biggest derby this club has played.
