4-2-3-1 Just stick Diame in for Ramirez and same team for me. Will Brucey swop to 3-5-2 and bring Chester back and drop HBA or Brady? McGregor Dawson Davies Chester Elmo Robertson Hudd Diame Livermore Brady/HBA Jelavic Nowt to lose here lets go out and be positive.
Agreed....lets put the pressure on from the start. Their back 3 or 4 are their weak link. We have some real attacking options...lets use them. I just hope we don't drop deep early and allow them to come at us. Its been our big weakness tactically this season IMO. 2-2 draw and with a bit of luck a possible three points from this one if we get a decent ref!!!
Or bring Chester back in and drop one of Livermore and Huddlestone so they don't both pick up a 5th yellow this game?
I think it will all depend on whether SB goes for the same formation as the Spurs game, or 352, if 352 then Chezzy will come back in and probably Brady will be the unlucky one.
Stats for what they're worth.... Key match stats (supplied by Opta) Manchester United have won the last nine straight matches against Hull City including all six meetings in the Premier League. Hull have played 11 away games in the league at Man Utd losing 10 and winning none. Wayne Rooney has scored six goals in four Premier League matches against Hull. Hull City have made more clearances (525) and more blocks (73) than any other Premier League team this season. There have been 25 goals scored in the six Premier League matches between the Tigers and the Red Devils, 18 of them by Man Utd. The Tigers have won just one of their last 11 Premier League away games (D4 L6). No team has thrown away more points from a winning position in the Premier League than Hull City this season (11, level with Swansea). Angel Di Maria has assisted 20 goals in 2014, more than any other player in Europe’s top five leagues. Wayne Rooney has scored 66 goals in his last 100 Premier League games at Old Trafford. Robin van Persie has scored only eight goals in 21 Premier League games in 2014, down from 19 in 29 in 2013.
Not holding out much hope today. Spurs team with Diame in for Beckham and go for it. If we sit back and defend stoutly they'll nick one in the last ten minutes anyhow.
Our daft lad who kicks out, gets sent off and causes us to throw away an important game, due to his childish petulance. I bet he's got OCD too. Or even CDO - that's a much more alphabetically tidy syndrome.
Agree we have to be positive. United's glaring weakness is at the back, going forward they're as good as anyone. 5 at the back would make no sense today. So long as we have a right go, who can ask for more, whatever the outcome?
Enjoy it mate. Its a great stadium. Seeing mad Mendy come on and terrorise one of the best LB's in the world was one of the highlights of our first season in this league. The frantic desperation of the Man U fans begging the ref to blow up for full time was another.
Yes we have - a football match. This is a totally winnable game. In probably the weakest Premier League ever, all games other than vs Chelsea are definitely winnable.
