Well well well, while we were all discussing when kanes inevitable departure from spurs would be exactly, those cheeky red devil's have been plotting to sweep in at the end of the season for not only their star striker but thier manager too according to sky sports. Pochahontas has already shown form for ditching a "smaller" club for greener richer pastures when he left saints for spurs, do we think he would do the same with spurs and dump them for the utd job, taking Kane and a few more with him? I think he would.
Sorry mate. Poor wumming, and late too. Piskie has already tried this one!.. 1/10. V.poor effort. Must do better.
Having enjoyed a successful 18-month spell at Southampton, Pochettino showed no hesitation in abandoning the project at hand at St. Mary's to take up the vacant position at Spurs. It's a point which Jeremy Wilson of the Daily Telegraph believes illustrates Pochettino's unrelenting ambition to reach the summit of world football. And Wilson believes the lure of Old Trafford would be too hard for Pochettino to resist, adding: "He is very ambitious, he moved quickly from Southampton when he got the chance and I don't think he'd hang around if he got the chance to go to United. http://www.skysports.com/football/n...-if-man-utd-call-says-sunday-supplement-panel
It's just speculation at the moment, but there are signs that Pochettinho would take the job if it were offered to him.
... more than likely a load of rubbish although van Gaal's malaise does generate food for thought, especially if Guardiola and Mourinho are out of the frame, albeit for different reasons ... .. no denying that Pochettino has done a great building job at both Saints and Spuds and does beg the question, what might he achieve if he were indeed to move on to a none-selling club like United?
He's already got some of his ex southampton players there in Shaw and Schneiderlin. If he brought Kane and Erikson to Utd, then it could be the place where he'd like to realise his ambitions with those players.
FFS Piskie ... I've only just finished ground baiting the fookin' swim ... then in you come, blundering through in your cut-price waders and with your out dated tackle, churning up the water and scaring away the fish ... give me strength! ...
It may just be speculation, but you would think that if the Glazers offered enough compensation, then Danny Trotter and Grandpa Joe won't have too many objections.
No spurs fans yet saying poch would never leave spurs because he's "building something"? If utd don't get Mourinho or guardiola then if I was a spurs fan I'd be sweating slightly come the end of the season at this news, he certainly has no reason to be loyal to spurs if utd do cone calling, seems like an ambitious bloke too so would not rule this one out so easily.
Pochettino was always uneasy at Southampton after Nicola Cortese resigned. Cortese was the man who hired him, placed faith in him, and had overseen Southampton's rise from league one to the Premiership. Had Cortese had his plans backed and stayed, the chances are Pochettino would have stayed too. I doubt that he would leave us so easily. So long as Levy backs him up
Oh ****, ok close the forum. Stop the press! HRH says it's not going to happen Why not may I ask? Oh all knowing one
