The only ****ing player we've sold for financial gain is Carroll for THIRTY FIVE MILLION QUID.

Every other player we've sold we have (and we will by the looks of it) replace with someone of equal or higher value. Why do people think we're just cashing in on players left right and centre?

Really, really not worth selling him for £14million. He's the backbone of a strong squad and was a bargain at £3.5mill. You'll never get such a good deal like that again, so selling him would be an epically backwards step.

I think he will eventually join the exodus as his wage has gone up, and his value has soared and Mike won't be able to resist. But 14m? Somehow I think not, that's a fecking great big insult for one of the top 3 defensive midfielders in the league. If they add another 11m on to make a nice round 25m then they might have hope of getting Mike to the negotiating table.

Hopefully he will be here for a long time to come and we'll build a team around him but we're a selling club and money talks in Mikes world. If his reign has told us anything, its never say never!
