A Wayne Rooney hattrick helped Man Utd to a resounding victory in the second game of their pre-season tour of the US. Considering Seattle Sounders were last season's Western Conference Champions and Man Utd fielded a less than full strength side it really shows just how far the American (domestic) game is behind ours. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/fo...Sounders-7-0-in-US-pre-season-tour-match.html
Now now, no need to refer to the Glazers as the Yanks. Besides, Fergie picks the team and the Glazers never interfere with his selections.
Park was instrumental again when he came on in the second half, Young played well and Lindegaard was also solid once again, commanding his box and holding everything, Amos even made some good saves in the second half, Diouf and even Obertan looked pretty good too, overall another good performance on a pretty poor pitch, it was very slow which was obvious in lots of the passing and lots of players were losing their footing. Sounders played some very good Football too, I was surprisingly impressed by them.Saying that they can not defend but our keepers made some super saves.
Seattle actually played very well in the first half. It was only 1-0 at half time. They just made some defensive errors that United punished. Our strike rate was clinical.
