In good company... FC Midtjylland 2-1 Man Utd 3 - Teams to concede more than 1 goal in a European away game against Midtjylland since 2008: Bangor City, The New Saints, Man United. Trio. Midtjylland's playing budget for 2014/15 - wages and transfers - was £7m. #mufc's wage bill £203m so total spend over £300m. http://www.bbc.com/sport/live/football/35094818
"Let's give Man U the benefit of the doubt. They are clearly caught between a rock and a hard place. Giggs is refusing to take the job short term while Jose wants a run at it from July. Letting the current season play out as is, is a risky business. LVG should fall on his own sword. His arrogance is breath taking and more worryingly damaging United's medium term commercial prospects." http://www.bbc.com/sport/live/football/35094818
Anyone else enjoying the demise of Utd? At least we're not the only ones to spend a load of money and still be crap.
And ex-loanee Daniel Parejo on the scoresheet too - FT 6-0, has Nevilles' team turned the corner at last?
I think that Ed Woodward doesn't want the legacy of sacking 2 managers in such short space of time. Far better for him to let the contract run down and come to an arrangement at the end of May. I cannot think otherwise why he didn't move at Christmas, sack LVG and task Jose with achieving a top-four finish. There's plenty of schadenfreude - as there was when Liverpool began to wane in the mid-1990s. The wheel turns.
