by Ron Carne March 10th, 2014 Man Utd hope to be able to sign winged starlet Shaun Wright Phillips permanently from financially-stricken Championship outfit Queens Park Rangers in a cut=price deal this summer, according to reports in the Manchester City Chronicle. The north-west giants know the attacker having since gone on to record an impressive 1 goal and two assists in total in his 242 matches in all competitions for shagger Rednapp's side. And as a result, the Reds are understood to be desperate to land SWP on a permanent deal when his school term comes to an end this summer. However, with his parent club now facing a potential £50m fine, Man U are said to be confident of landing SWP on the cheap for next season. It is understood, by a source close to the club, that this would cut Rangers wage bill in half, giving them scope to buy almost all of the Borussia Dortmund team http://www.thedailymash.co.uk/sport...entire-arsenal-squad-for-a-laugh-201107184087
Its not often an article literally makes me LOL but that did. It just shows what a joke he is and even now, people still defend him.
Sure they haven't misquoted which "Philllips" Manure may be interested in ???? Manure interested in a QPR player. Dont hear that everyday. Particularly, one that struggles to make our bench ????
Flyer if this did come off then I guarantee you that SWP would rip up the league ... we are coming a club who can't play players in the right role. SWP needs to sit just off Austin or our centre forward. I rate him of course. What QPR has done to him is daft
Classic... I thought they'd joined the race for Remy when I read the title. Stan, was this your re-writing of an article, or a wind up from a real journalist?
I'm stunned that people could even contemplate that it wasnt a comedy article, god help them if the ever read the onion, mind you the article about 5 blade razors actually came true.
"Stan, was this your re-writing of an article, or a wind up from a real journalist? " My re-writing - fed up seeing the same old same old lazy journo stuff
I know you have defended him when the rest of us had long since written him off. If we can get rid of his wage and recoup say only £3.5mill for him (I think that's what amounts to 'cut price' for one of the high rollers ) even you would struggle to turn that down. Have you offered your services to the club to market his skills?
............... and they say everything is working against us at present. Well, if this one comes off I'm going back to church ( might need directions though ) Praise the Lord, I see the light ............... apparently so does MU with SWP! Sing Hallelujah!
