great article tbh City and Liverpool are just desperate chelsea is run by an crazy self centered idiot between Arsenal and UTD there is 33m difference .. let us say the core squad stay the same for 3-4 season, this is 8m a season !! cheap price between winning trophies and challenging for title compared to sitting behind watching other teams winning while you get more envious .. given that outcome, I think UTD are the best club managed in PL

United were able to spend money when they needed to due to Fergie's longevity. The other clubs haven't given their managers the chance to build squads over time, hence more money spent on overhauls, overpaying for one problem position etc. And then there's City and Chelsea.
Very true - Utd's patience with SAF definitely paid off, as did SAF's patience and ability with his own players. Other clubs were able to match us in the short term, but failed to stick with us when the money they spent didn't bring rewards so they dumped the manager and started again. Even long term managers like Wenger and (in relative terms) Benitez weren't always able to get the best out of their squad players, so spent lots on relatively mediocre players whilst we kept much of our money for bigger signings.
