I am not a Man U fan, but when I was a kid I did meet many of the United side in the mid nineties (including Schmeichle, Beckham, Cantona etc.) and I have to say that the majority were very friendly albeit Ryan Giggs has the wettest handshake out of anyone I have met and Andy Cole is just so tiny! Anyway, growing up during the era of United's early dominance I have seen quite a bit of them (obviously not as much as yourselves) and I wondered who you would put in your XI. Neville LB Evra CB Pallister CB Ferdinand MR Beckham MC Ince MC Scholes ML Giggs FW Cantona ST Hughes Subs: van der Saar, Blackmore, Irwin, Bruce, Kanchelskis, Cole and Yorke. Sorry I just could not bring myself to pick Ronaldo or the anti-football merchant Keane! Would be interested to see your selections.
No Keane. Sorry mate but that just renders your opinion virtually irrelevant. He's the best cm we've had bar none, and not just under Fergie.

I was lucky, the few years I was a regular match goer coincided with Roy Keane playing during his peak years. He's the best midfielder of his type to have played football in England during my lifetime. ****ing awesome player. Irwin was miles better than Evra. Love the Clayton Blackmore selection.

It's a long list. Doesn't include Clayton though!
Prefer van Der Sar and just mixed it up with Scholes to go with Robbo. Very difficult at CM and I changed it last second on a whim.
