Tricky enough task what with the quality of our performances but who gets the mantle of QPR man of the match v Fulham?
I think it's hard to see past Paddy at this juncture. Yes I know he did turn around half a dozen times (much more slowly as the game went on, dodged a booking there IMO) to retrieve the ball from the net but for effort and imagination hard to fault him on that Johnson tackle; just didn't follow through hard enough to take the man out but at least he tried.

Kenny's weight issues are hampering his career. Will someone tell that Tubby cu*t to lay off the pasties

I thought Orr defended well even if his crossing was mediocre.

Hard to give it to Paddy. His save leading to the first goal should have pushed the ball wide not back into the middle of the penalty area, and the more I see it, the more I think the penalty was his fault. I think he called for the ball and didn't get there. Yes, Hall should have over ruled him and cleared it, but I'm sure he called. The way he then lay there with his head in his hands, he knew he'd got it wrong.

As for who was man of the match on our side, well there just wasn't one was there?

You weren't serious about MOM to Paddy were you Twins? For me the first 2 goals were down to him. A PL keeper will normally not spill that straight forward first shot, and what waas he doing at the edge of his penalty area in that situation where he gave away the pen, with the Fulham guy going nowhere and with 1Size covering him? Looked to me like he held up his hands to both of them. And at 0-2 we were always going to struggle. Orr was the best of a bad lot on the day for me, Ali a close second, and the rest that played a full half at least, well below par.

I suppose I was just trying to lighten the mood a little, Oslo; I think they all would be a slightly embarrassed to be awarded the accolade. One to forget, definitely!

Yeh, you are right there Twins. Best for the squad to forget it too. No game will be easy - just saw a bit of Blackburn on the TV against Man City, and they played some good stuff. We will have to be really sharp at the back against them as well. So I hope Colin has pressed the delete button on Fulham, and is working 100% on how we get it right next time. Come on you R's.
