I like the idea of three mini votes. That way it's more fair and not first past the post, unlike something else
How about heats, 2 semi finals of 10 with 5 votes each, the top 5 players from both semi finals goes into a grand final of 10. Most players get a bye into the semi finals but perhaps a qualifying heat if more than 20 players selected to get into the semi finals
