Man City win the league if they win the game.

However my question to Utd fans is how do you approach the game? Is it Jose style defence and a point or do you attack and at least make them earn it?

If Jose defends and gets beaten I imagine there will be fallout and with so much of it already could it be the nail in his coffin?

If It's attack and lose at least they had a go.

Jose attack? I don't think that will happen. It'll be the usual defend and try to nick a goal and defend some more. Will Utd get 30% possession for the game? I'll say no.

 

I don't think the fans will be happy with a defensive display against a team that likes that kind of tactic. Go at city and you may have some joy but sit back and they will get that goal.

 

Mourinho could get himself a bit of credit by not allowing City to win the league against us. Even better if we beat them.

I doubt Guardiola is that arsed given it's between the CL 1/4 final and they've won the league anyway.

What United could do is piss on the City fans chips and set a marker down for next season, even if it's a minor one.

I won't hold my breath though.

Of course I'd prefer to do them and not have to suffer this but every cloud has a silver lining. I would want our players to suffer what it feels like and remember how humiliating it was. Last time we suffered a blow like this to City we come back and stuffed the league title down their throats the following season.

Just find the contrast between Utd fans and Jose interesting.

 

I just feel that it's coming to a point where the fans don't want to see Jose at the club. Would you rather Jose get a point and stop then winning the league on that day or go at them and stop it that way?

 

No contrast mate, a group who have become accustomed to winning and a manager that wins things, good fit.

Bit like Liverpool and Klopp (or Rodgers, remember him), a group that is accustomed to being close and always think this summer will complete the jigsaw with anything between 1 and 6 signings

 

I would rather we win, how we do it doesn't really matter at this stage.
Not sure I could stand a summer of you lot saying you were the only team to beat them in the PL, it would be a bit like when you won the "only English team to win a CL game at the Camp Nou" trophy

 

Not looking to take the piss on this thread I'm actually interested in how Utd fans feel, I have a few mates that really dislike Jose and feel he's not right for the club, you may think otherwise and like the fact that he wins things but is it win at all costs even if he does play this brand of football? If that's how you feel then fine. Answer the question though so do you want Jose defends vs City and get a point or have a go at them?

I love Klopp but until he wins something it means very little.

 

If he feels the need, defend and get a point.
I am no lover of some of the stuff we have had to watch but have seen him produce much better in his past. If he feels this is the best way to stabilise and get us back near the top I can live with it, if he spends another fortune and the style doesn't improve I will be calling for someone else.
