Goal Keeper's = At the Moment Hart is better keeper then De Gea but de gea is slightly better shot stopper the him.

Right Back = Richard is batter the Rafael but Rafael will get better, just needs to work on his defending positions.

Centre back= everyone knows this, simply Vidic, he is the best defender in the league

left wing = Evra is better then Glichy but at the moment Glichy is on a better form then Evra, Evra seems tired, he has played alot of game sin the past 3 years and this season.

    Right Wing = Valencia

midfield = this is hard one, Scholes and Yaya Toure

left wing= Nani over Adam Johnson and on form he is better then Silva but Silva mostly plays on the mid

Striker= Rooney, he and RVP are the best strikers in the league but aguero not far behind

Manager: everyone knows this.. the one and only Sir Alex

This is my opinion on the best players in each position between us and city.. do you guys agree with me?

    Fit players only -

    Hart
    Richards-Kompany-Rio-Clichy
    Valencia-Toure-Silva-Nani
    Rooney-Aguero

Quite hard to say a team though when formations are different etc.

My team based on this entire season (without overreacting like some fans due to the defensive errors in the Everton match):

    -----------------Hart--------------

    Richards---Kompany---Evans---Evra

    Valencia---Carrick---Toure---Silva

    ---------Rooney---Aguero--------

And on current form heading into the derby:

    -----------------de Gea--------------

    Rafael---Kompany---Evans---Evra

    Valencia---Scholes---Toure---Nani

    ---------Rooney---Aguero--------

Evans and Rafael have been brilliant for weeks, the only blip was the Everton match. Left wing was very close between Nasri, Young and Nani but for his goalscoring ability Nani gets in for me.

If its Fit and inform players

    ..............................Hart............................
    Rafeal........Kompany.......Ferdinand.......Clichy....
    ................................Toure..............................
    ...Valencia......Scholes...............Silva.............Nani.
    ............................Rooney.................................

Scholes has been great since his comeback, since his comeback he has been the best midfielder in the league so far, imagine if we had him from the start?.. we clearly missed him. Also Apart from Everton game, Rafael's form has been fantastic.

My combo team would be (assuming everyone was fit)

    -------------------Hart---------------
    Richards---Kompany---Vidic---Evra
    Valencia---Toure------Silva----Nani
    ---------Aguero----Rooney----------

I picked Silva over Scholes, simply because his legs are more likely to hold out for 90 mins.

Silva does not play in a two-man midfield though. He can play centrally in a 3-man midfield as he'll play an advanced role, but I can't picture him being effective in a two-man midfield unless he leaves huge gaps behind him.

    Hart
    Richards Vidic Kompany Evra
    Yaya Scholes Silva
    Rooney
    Aguero Tevez

Is it clutching at straws to say that the teams which City have to meet after the derby (Newcastle and QPR) are the two most in-form at this moment, having the best record against the so called top teams? Granted QPR is away not at home.

Having said this, I feel Utd should/must/need to get a result on Monday. Otherwise we (both City and Utd fans) will all be nervous wrecks by the end of the season.

yep we must and we need to get a result, even a draw will do, we can't afford to lose this, we had our hands on the trophy but because of our sloppiness we gave city a lifeline, they were out of it but we made them get back in this, we MUST beat city on monday or atleast get a draw.

    An unbiased blues view
    I would go for,in a 4-4-2
    De Gea
    Richards Kompany vidic Clichy
    Valencia carrick Scholes Nani
    Rooney Aguero

Hart is a great shotstopper but his distribution has been pretty poor whereas I think De Gea has gotten over his early troubles and now looks the part, unfortunately
Silva and yaya aren't consistent enough, both have been very ordinary the last couple of months
Carrick is probably the most underrated player around, the England team should have him central to their plans
Evra has been poor from what I've seen and surely Smalling is a better player than rafael?

Smalling does a decent job at RB, but is better when he plays CB. On his day Rafael can shut down any winger in the world and is extremely dangerous going forward.

Carrick is being underrated, nothing against Barry, he is a good player but i don't know why everytime Barry gets ahead of Carrick for England.

Evra has been in a poor form, i think that's because i think he needs rest, he has played alot of football in the last 3 years, he is our most used player this season.
